Squire & Partners visits the Serpentine Pavilion

June 2024

Squire & Partners made their annual visit to the Serpentine Pavilion at Kensington Gardens.

This year, the team was particularly inspired by the space created by Korean architect Min Cho. Unlike previous years, where designs often emerged as singular structures, Cho took a different approach. He created an open space surrounded by five unique 'islands' inspired by traditional Korean houses: The Play Tower, Teahouse, Library, Gallery, and Auditorium. These elements seamlessly connect to various residential quarters and everyday activities.
