For their twentieth anniversary addition, Tim designed, created and submitted bespoke artwork Mannequin Mannequin for the annual 10x10 Art Fundraiser, organised by Article 25.
10×10 is a powerful initiative uniting artists, architects and designers to support the global right to dignified, resilient, and sustainable buildings. Over the last two decades, 10×10 has raised funds through the sale of bespoke artworks for life-changing projects in 35 countries, from schools and hospitals to homes in vulnerable communities. The 2025 edition marked its twentieth anniversary.
Mannequin Mannequin is a limited-edition metal and resin casting of the original maquette for the 'Les Mannequins de Marbre', a public art installation created with French fashion brand Maria Luisa. First displayed outside their store in Shanghai’s French Quarter in 2015, the mannequins now stand in Brixton’s Department Store – home of Squire & Partners’ HQ office.
The abstracted, hand-carved figures - based on the uniform stance of the Terracotta Warriors - rise from solid marble bases, symbolising both stability and change, creation and decay - reflecting the evolving nature of fashion.
Made from metal powder and resin on a vintage mahogany base sourced from The Department Store.
