"Under proposed changes to the UK’s Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES), rented commercial office buildings are expected to reach EPC B by around 2030 - or risk becoming stranded assets.

"It’s often framed as a constraint, however I believe this new legislation is not a brake on development, but a catalyst: for better buildings, smarter investment, and more resilient assets."
