As the project nears completion, Concrete Quarterly spoke to Tim Gledstone about our sensitive refurbishment of the Grade II-listed Space House. The article uncovers the history of the brutalist icon and details our collaboration with Seaforth Land, which has sought to balance the workspace building’s past and future.
Describing the refurbishment and extension, Tim explained, “We saw it as a chance to treat the building more like a living museum, where we could go back through the steps, and piece together the process of making the cruciform.”
