Continuing our work on the regeneration of this cluster of buildings in Victoria, we were delighted to undertake the comprehensive refurbishment of Francis House for Derwent London to restore and revive the building, prior to Gensler’s fit out for Edelam's London headquarters - featured in Wallpaper*.
Located in the heart of Victoria, Francis House is part of a larger campus of late Victorian properties owned by Derwent London totalling 287,000 sq ft that Squire and Partners has been working on with the developer since 1998 to reimagine.
At Francis House, we sensitively stripped back years of neglect to the former Army and Navy depository store to reveal its grand architectural bones - highlighting its raw materials and maximising light - to provide generous and optimal work and amenity spaces.
