This month both the Squire & Partners eighth annual Winter Windows and the Brixton Winter Wonder Lights were switched on in Lambeth.
Recently, the students from Sudbourne Primary were invited back to The Department Store to see their designs, now transformed into neon lights, be switched on. The Southbank Centre also re-commissioned Squire & Partners to create a set of lights for the Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of its 2024 Winter Light festival designed by students from Oasis Academy Johanna.
Over the past year, Squire & Partners’ Modelshop team has been working with Brixton Business Improvement District (BID) to repurpose previous Winter Windows designs into a collection of bespoke lamppost lights. The smaller scale versions of past years’ creations have been mounted across Brixton and our now switched on to illuminate the town centre throughout the festive period.
