Bettina Brehler contributes to UKGBC commercial retrofit report

January 2024

As a member of UK Green Building Council (UKGBC)’s Commercial Retrofit Task Group, director Bettina Brehler has helped to create its new guidance launching today: ‘Building the Case for Net Zero: Retrofitting Office Buildings’.

Bettina and the group of cross-industry experts have created a set of cost and carbon evaluations to give insight on the effectiveness of different retrofit strategies.

The report also offers guidance on key steps for overcoming frequent challenges faced when looking to improve the energy performance of an office building, and the strength of including building upgrades within maintenance and leasing cycles.
