Brixton Street Gallery was an exhibition of ten supersized canvases featuring works by local Brixton artists, drawing on the unique culture and heritage of the area. The exhibition was presented on the facades and pavement of the former Bon Marche department store on Ferndale Road, and was one of the headline events for Brixton Design Trail 2015. The eclectic mix of artworks included the launch of Connect Brixton by the ‘Patron Saints of Print’ Eley Kishimoto, plus painting, graphics, mosaics, photography and murals.

Devised and curated by Squire and Partners, the Brixton Street Gallery was on display from Friday 18 to Sunday 27 September, as part of a series of events and installations for Brixton Design Trail and the London Design Festival.
