Squire and Partners were crowned 2015 Architect of the Year at the Sunday Times British Homes Awards held at Grosvenor Square on Friday 16 October. Having already won Development of the Year for One Tower Bridge, partner Murray Levinson took to the stage to collect the Architect of the Year award.

Michael Squire commented:

We are delighted to be recognised as Architect of the Year by the prestigious Sunday Times British Homes Awards, as well as winning Development of Year for One Tower Bridge. As a practice we enjoy the variety of our residential portfolio – ranging from one off private houses to large scale masterplans – and the richness of London as an urban context from which to draw design ideas. Defining city spaces and neighbourhoods is an enormous responsibility for architects, so it is extremely rewarding to be recognised as having made a significant contribution to the city.
