Squire & Partners was appointed as London architects for the 5* Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, which opened in 2012, working alongside concept and design architects Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel and Partners. The project represents the UK flagship hotel for Bulgari and has set new standards for luxury amongst London hotel development.
The hotel features 85 rooms including bespoke designed suites, along with a limited number of luxury apartments. Room sizes are significantly larger than most 5 star hotels, supplemented with hotel amenities which include a lounge, bar and spirit room, 47 seat cinema, restaurant with private dining, ballroom, private members club, business centre and meeting rooms.
The Bulgari Spa and Wellness Centre comprises a 25 metre swimming pool, gold leaf lined vitality pool, eleven treatment rooms, spa suite, hairdressing, sauna and hammam.
