Designs for a new high rise office building at Park Place are rooted in providing an elegant and contemporary workplace, which is sustainable and creates a lasting relationship with the existing historic dock.

The building is articulated as a simply expressed stepped tower, rising to 31 storeys above street level, with a natural stone and glass façade designed to reduce energy use to a 30% improvement over current Part L requirements.

Plant areas at mid and upper levels are screened with a series of elegant stone louvres which break down the building volume and emphasise the vertical aesthetic. Landscaped gardens are provided where the building steps up in height, providing pleasant outdoor areas for occupants.

South of the main entrance, a new public square animates the dock frontage, supported by improved routes through to surrounding streets including a new pedestrian bridge, linear water feature and pockets of seating set within planted trees and flower beds.
