Victoria Gardens comprises a 15 storey building in a key location directly east of Victoria Station. The complex site is triangular in plan – addressing Victoria Street, Vauxhall Bridge Road and Wilton Road – and provides a mix of residential apartments along with retail at ground floor.

Taking inspiration from a series of high profile art deco buildings in the surrounding streets, the curved stone facade is designed with a clear horizontal expression, and enriched with decorative bronze details. White bands of stone wrap around the building, curving inwards to create generous balconies for residents. A series of full height fixed windows are combined with solid openable bronze panels, which feature a pattern of fluid lines referencing conjoining rail tracks.

A series of vertical elements divide the elevation into a series bays referencing the mansion blocks of the Westminster Cathedral conservation area, with central entrances and prominent bay windows to living rooms. The generous double height ground floor is repeated at high level, where the top two floors are expressed as one and provide a series of duplex apartments with set-back balconies. The existing Bridge Place underpass is significantly improved through the creation of a generously proportioned and animated frontage, and the introduction of a large rooflight which draws natural light into the space.
