The aim of the proposals was to preserve and enhance the character of the local conservation area with an architectural language that is sensitive to the location and context, whilst delivering high quality homes and substantially improving the local housing stock.
The brief was to design a new build scheme while blending the traditional character of the retained facades with new modern extensions facing the rear. Full restoration work was carried out to revitalize the external building fabric and bring back to life the otherwise run down existing property.
