In the pool area, a glazed rooflight draws natural light from the garden mews through a slim aperture to create dramatic light patterns across the textured Pietra del Mar stone walls, and offers views upward through the landscaped gardens to the sky. The pool and enclosing floor areas are clad in a richly veined Broughton Moor slate; variations of green and grey connecting with the Primrose Hill setting. To one side of the pool are seating areas positioned in reflective opaque glazed niches offering relaxation space for spa users, and a bespoke timber recess provides a place for towels and robes.
A fully glazed gymnasium is orientated to enjoy views across the reflective water surface towards the rooflight. Changing rooms and a treatment room share the palette of rich green/grey slate on walls and floors, with smoked larch bespoke joinery used for lockers and shelving.
