After a bold win in 2015, Squire and Partners were invited back to the Great Architectural Bake Off during the London Festival of Architecture 2016.
On Saturday 11 June, our team competed against other architects and designers, including Foster + Partners, Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners and AHMM, in the hope of defending the title with an ambitious design of the Millennium Dome.
The judging panel included the director of London Festival of Architecture, Tamsie Thomson, Sam Bompas from Bompas and Parr and Henrietta Thompson, editor at Large at Wallpaper*.
Whilst the 2016 crown went to amazing cakes by Jestico + Whiles and RSHP, we had a fantastic day thanks to organisers WATG. We’ll be back next year!
