Maria Cheung is Head of Interior Design, leading on a versatile range of projects from high end residential such as Lancer Square in Kensington, to innovative workspaces and members’ clubs that reimagine existing and historic spaces for pioneering developers like Ministry of Sound and BentallGreenOak. Recently completed hospitality projects include Ruby Zoe Hotel in Notting Hill.

Alessandro Mangiavacchi has led numerous prestigious projects for the practice in the UK and internationally, including the five star Bulgari Hotel London, 20 Grosvenor Square operated by Four Seasons in Mayfair, and the Reiss headquarters in Westminster. Currently, he is overseeing the design of several residential developments in the Middle East and a boutique hotel in London.

Clelia Filipe joined in 1994 from an entrepreneurial background and has overseen business growth, leading operations as Finance Director for both the practice and its associated developments. At The Studios, the practice’s neighbourhood workspace development, Clelia has provided business mentoring to winners of its annual residency programme, which offers local entrepreneurs aged 18-30 free workspace for a year.

Bettina Brehler has particular expertise in high-rise, high-density and urban masterplanning and a keen interest in adaptive reuse, and oversees the practice’s sustainability department. Most recently, she has led the practice’s office retrofits of the Grade II listed 22 Shad Thames in Southwark and the sustainable redevelopment of 20 Manchester Square in Westminster.

Michael Poots has been responsible for a number of developments globally, and has expertise in creating bespoke urban developments such as Clarges Mayfair for British Land and UNISON’s headquarters. He has recently led the delivery of two private apartment buildings in Albany Marina, Bahamas, and the design of City of London’s largest workspace refurbishment at 65 Gresham Street.

Tim Gledstone joined the practice in 1998 and has taken a leading role in the design direction of the practice, delivering prestigious developments in the UK and internationally. Tim led the design of the studio’s RIBA award-winning headquarters The Department Store, and most recently Albany Marina private residences in the Bahamas and the revitalisation of the listed Space House in Covent Garden.

Great-grandson of Sir John Squire - joint founder of The Architecture Club, and son of Michael Squire - founder of Squire & Partners, Henry Squire joined the practice in 1997 and became Partner in 2005. Henry has since led on a wide range of projects worldwide, including Chelsea Barracks, 20 Grosvenor Square, the UK’s tallest residential tower Landmark Pinnacle in Canary Wharf and a 6km Linear Park in Abu Dhabi.

Olga Gomez is responsible for many of the practice’s international projects, including six buildings within the Msheireb Downtown Doha masterplan, the regeneration of Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street in Abu Dhabi, and most recently designing vision guidelines for future masterplans in the Middle East. In London, Olga has led the design of numerous new workspace buildings including Rolling Stock Yard and The Frames.
